Who is responsible
This site is run by DAK Solutions, a sole proprietorship (個人事業主) based in Tokyo, Japan. There is no company behind it and no marketing department: the person who reads your message is the person who answers it.

What is collected
Only what you type into the contact form, and only when you press send:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your telephone number;
- the subject you select and the message you write.
Nothing is collected when you simply read the site. There is no analytics tool, no advertising tag, no visitor tracking, and no cookie set by this site.
Why it is collected
To answer you, to prepare a quotation, and to keep a record of what was agreed. Your data is never sold, rented, or used to send you anything you did not ask for.
Who else sees it
A message travels through a small number of technical providers before it reaches the mailbox:
- Netlify — hosting of the site and of the function that receives the form. Netlify keeps standard server logs (IP address, date, page requested) for a limited period.
- FormSubmit — relays the form content by email.
- Google Workspace — the mailbox where the message is stored and read.
- Google reCAPTCHA — anti-spam check on the form. Google receives technical data about the submission and may set its own cookies for that purpose.
These providers operate servers outside Japan, which means your message crosses borders on its way to the mailbox. No one else receives your data.
How long it is kept
Messages that do not lead to a job are deleted within twelve months. Messages attached to a quotation or an intervention are kept for five years, because Japanese bookkeeping rules require the supporting documents of a transaction to be available for that long.
Your rights
Under the Japanese Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報保護法) you may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to contact@daksolutions.jp and you will get an answer within a few working days. There is no form to fill in and no fee.
If you are writing from the European Union, the same applies under the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, and the right to object to any further use.
Changes to this page
If the site ever starts using an analytics tool or another provider, this page is updated before that happens, and the date at the top changes with it.
